For too long companies have relied upon luck or lifelong relationships with consultants from the health and safety arena which are proving both expensive and insufficient. This dated format of endless retainers in exchange for a safety folder from a health and safety consultant in some distant ivory tower is being challenged. Health and safety is the responsibility of everyone within your company at every moment of everyday. A frightening number of companies paying for these services don’t review risk assessments and are therefore not assessing the ever changing daily hazards. Failure to meet these requirements results in HSE fines and prosecutions.
Lawtonash Training services is a specialist in construction and Utility training offering both work-based and class-based training. Although predominantly operating from our accredited centres in Kent (South East) and Cambridgeshire (East), we also travel (upon request) to train clients across the UK. We support companies by upskilling their current workforce and training new talent from our bespoke facilities which include; a ten metre loading tower, Deep Excavation areas, simulated roads and 10,000 square metre plant zones.
We are proud to be on the ESFA register of approved training providers and in turn understand our commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for apprentices to learn. All our staff are: DBS checked, inducted onto the companies safeguarding policy, qualified first aiders and participate in quarterly review meetings.
I have fifteen years experience in the utility and construction industry. Since forming Lawtonash Training in 2011, we have trained over 15,000 individuals. From listening to these companies and learners, we have identified the need for Lawtonash Health and Safety Coach.
I've been in Health and Safety for over 25 years in both international conglomerates and providing health and safety teaching across the construction industry. I enjoy making Health and Safety understandable.
After graduating in Civil Engineering, I worked internationally before returning to the UK to complete my graduate diploma in law. I'm now focused on managing the exponential growth of Lawtonash Health and Safety Coach.
